Fee and Deposit Information
A $20 setup fee is charged to all new accounts.  In addition, a deposit may be required. When your account is created, you will receive an e-mail with the total amount due on your new account. This amount includes the deposit, if applicable.

Please note:  A credit check through a 3rd party (Experian) will be run to determine if applicant is required to pay a security deposit. The cooperative reserves the right to require payment in full before establishing service. After 12 months of on-time payments, the applicant may request a new credit check and deposit amount reviewed.

To avoid paying a deposit ($0-$350 based on credit check, if applicable), the cooperative has a prepaid electric option available to all members. MyPower (prepaid) accounts, require a minimum payment of $70 ($50 starting credit plus $20 set-up fee) before the connect date. No deposit is required. If this application is requested after the initial connect date, additional monies may be required. 

Alerts
MyPower accounts bill each day so no paper bills are mailed out. To monitor your electric use and balance, alerts are setup (default alerts will be set up for you). These can be changed at any time on the MyCuivreApp or Website Portal.

By signing below, the applicant agrees to the ByLaws, MyPower Service Agreement (if applicable), and MyPower Terms and Conditions (if applicable) of Cuivre River Electric Cooperative (CREC).

The applicant will comply with and be bound by the provisions of the charter and by-laws of the cooperative, and such rules and regulations as may from time to time be adopted by the cooperative. The applicant assumes no personal liability or responsibility for any debts or liabilities of the cooperative by reason of this application.

As a cooperative member the applicant shall (a) receive the Rural Missouri/Current Times, a monthly newspaper which communicates official notices and news of Cuivre River Electric Cooperative, and (b) be included in the Operation Round Up program, which funds the Cuivre River Electric Community Trust. The applicant understands and agrees that this document will entitle any joint applicant to a share of all capital credits associated with this account, both past and future. Applicant(s) give CREC consent to contact them by phone/text/e-mail to inform of account activity including but not limited to account balance and usage information. If applicant(s) contact information changes, it is their responsibility to contact CREC to update.
